“Hezekiah’s Ministry is founded on the belief that God has spoken through His Word and that His Word is truth and gives us life, hope, and healing.”

1. The Word of God

We believe that the Bible is the living, inspired, and eternal Word of God and is therefore true, trustworthy, and the final authority for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Proverbs 30:5, John 17:17, Isaiah 40:8, Hebrews 4:12).

2. God

We believe in one true and living God, Who eternally exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Jeremiah 10:10, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1 John 5:7).

3. Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus is God in the flesh, He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day (John 1:1, Hebrews 4:15, 1 Peter 2:24,1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

We believe that through Him alone we have forgiveness of sins and eternal life (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).

4. Humanity and Sin

We believe that all people are created in the image of God, but all have sinned and are in need of salvation to be right with God (Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23; 6:23, John 3:3).

5. Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, not by works (Ephesians 2:8–9, Romans 10-9-10).

We believe that all who place their faith in Jesus to be their Savior are forgiven of their sins and made new (Acts 10:43, Romans 10:9, 2 Corinthians 5:17).

6. The Gospel

We believe the gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins and rose again so that through Him we are can be reconciled to God (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

We believe the gospel is the hope of the world and we are commanded and committed to sharing it with others (Mark 16:15-16, Romans 1:16).

7. Eternity

We believe that those who trust Jesus to being their Savior from their sins will spend eternity with God and those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God in Hell (John 3:16, 36;  Acts 16:31, Matthew 25:46, Revelation 20:15).

8. Baptism and Communion

We believe that baptism and communion are ordinances given to the church as acts of obedience and do not provide salvation (Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 11:24-25, Ephesians 2:8–9, Romans 5:1, Titus 3:5, 1 Corinthians 1:14, 17; 1 Peter 3:21).

We believe baptism is a public declaration of faith that is symbolic of the believer’s identification with Jesus Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:3-4).

We believe that communion is a remembrance of the body and blood of Jesus, proclaiming His sacrifice until He comes (Matthew 26:26-28, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

9. The Church

We believe that the church is the body of Christ; called to love, build up, and edify one another (1 Corinthians 12:27, Ephesians 4:4-6, John 13:34-35, Ephesians 4:11-12, Romans 14:19).

10. Life and Compassion

We believe that every human life is precious, valuable, and created by God (Genesis 1:27, Psalm 139:13-16).

We believe that God is near to the brokenhearted and brings comfort to those suffering (Psalm 34:18, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
